Money is the system of trade we use in modern society. We trade value for money.
This value may be an hour of our labor or it may be a “valued result” the person or company receives in exchange for compensation that is agreed upon.
Since others provide most of our necessities as well as our desired ‘stuff’, we need money to live in modernized culture. Hat we really need is to have enough financial resources for food, shelter, and safety. Everything after that is an amenity. Not having enough or not knowing that we will have enough in the future can cause stress and pain in many other areas of life.
